I’d be an intern in their SAP consulting practice.
So yeah, but the good side of IT.

Because the university I’m at in like 2nd in the country for SAP stuff. And the job prospects out of the MIS program here are crazy good.
And for what they would pay me even as an intern it would be totally worth it.

I didn’t realize universities had SAP programs. I’m in IT too so I feel like a dumbass now.

Well its technically an MIS degree but overall focus is in the SAP environment, and a combo of classes plus a test and they’ll give you the TERP10 too.

Because the two I applied for had specific openings posted on the jobs portal at my university.

Nice! Congrats. Which “Big 4” do you mean, exactly? Sometimes that definition varies. I’m a CRM Consultant at the moment (Microsoft) and I’m consistently impressed by SAP - we do a lot of integrations with them. What part of the country are you in?

Big 4 in the consulting/audit firms are Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG.
And I’m in the Midwest.

Gotcha. Yeah, those are definitely the Big 4 for accounting, and typically referred to as the Big 4 in general. For a second, I thought you might be talking about the big 4 for other types of consulting - Deloitte, BCG, Mckinsey, and Bain. I’m in the Midwest as well. Would definitely recommend making the move if you can get yourself to NYC, London, Chicago, or somewhere along those lines with those guys if the opportunity presents itself.

Yeah, the position I am far more interested in would put me in Chicago. Other in Detroit, which is close to home, which makes it nice. But being in Chicago would be awesome.
